Print this list of “wanted” consequences and “unwanted” consequences! Cut into slips of paper and store in brown bags decorated by your children or in small zipper bags. When your child does something praiseworthy, you can have them draw out a “wanted consequence”. When your child needs course correction but has not lied or demonstrated outright defiance, you can have them draw an “unwanted” consequence. Many of the consequences go beyond dealing with just behavior to meaningfully connect with other people! Parents, may these help you maintain consistency and enjoyment of your chid even in discipline! Kids, may these decrease your ‘time out’ experiences! See the blog for all the details and further instructions.
